[Bug 2077007] Re: s390x VMs have long hostname instead of "autopkgtest"
Here is a failed s390x run on bos03[1]:
Hostname: adtubuntu-oracular-s390x-server-20240712-img-adt-
prepare
And here is the same dep8 test, same package, on another arch,
ppc64el[2] for example:
Hostname: autopkgtest
I don't know for how long these logs will be available, so I'll attach them as well.

Title:
s390x VMs have long hostname instead of "autopkgtest"
Status in Auto Package Testing:
New
Bug description:
Some time ago we configured the user-data which is used to initialize
the adt images so that the VMs hostname is fixed to "autopkgtest".
Apparently this is not working as expected in some s390x VMs:
<ahasenack> example on s390x: adtubuntu-oracular-s390x-server-20240712-img-adt-prepare
<ahasenack> example on, say, ppc64el (where my test works): autopkgtest
This was on bos03.
