[Bug 2092558] [NEW] vmx_controls_test from ubuntu_kvm_unit_tests failed with "KVM_GET_PIT2 failed: Input/output error"

This is a new issue after updating our kvm-unit-test fork to 0ed2cdf3
"arm64: Fix sve_vl() for build errors"

Issue found on node "rumford", "bibarel", "bronzor", "fava", "hind" with
J-5.15-0-130. It looks like all of these are Intel nodes. AMD nodes are
not affected.
