Title:
test.d--ftrace--func_event_triggers.tc from ubuntu_kselftests_ftrace
is flaky on s390x LPAR
Status in ubuntu-kernel-tests:
New
Bug description:
This issue was only spotted with Eoan (5.3.0-43.36) LPAR instances
s2lp4
# [20] ftrace - test for function event triggers [FAIL]
Passed with s390x zVM and zKVM
However, it will pass if you run it directly:
$ sudo ./ftracetest test.d/ftrace/func_event_triggers.tc
=== Ftrace unit tests ===
[1] ftrace - test for function event triggers [PASS]
[2] (instance) ftrace - test for function event triggers [PASS]
# of passed: 2
# of failed: 0
# of unresolved: 0
# of untested: 0
# of unsupported: 0
# of xfailed: 0
# of undefined(test bug): 0
So it looks like a test case issue here.
