Title:
'sudo' commands fail with "already defined" errors on oracle hirsute
images
Status in ubuntu-kernel-tests:
New
Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
The problem was first noticed when it caused these errors:
http://10.246.72.9/5.11.0-1007.7-oracle/hirsute-linux-oracle-oracle-
amd64-5.11.0-VM.Standard2.1-ubuntu_qrt_kernel_security/ubuntu_qrt_kernel_security/results/ubuntu_qrt_kernel_security.test-
kernel-security.py/debug/ubuntu_qrt_kernel_security.test-kernel-
security.py.DEBUG.html
and Sam has narrowed it down to a problem running sudo commands, which
all fail with the error:
Alias "xxxxx" already defined
This affects the 2021-05-10 SRU cycle. More info on this Trello card:
