At UDS we made the decision to try to target xserver 1.14 this cycle,
although the schedule for the 1.14 release looked tight with its release
targeted for March.
This cycle's focus is the nexus7, with its tegra3 video driver. We'll
need to get it rebuilt for the new xserver ABI, and still have time for
one or two updates in case of bugs. The former I think is pretty
straightforward, and we can just block 1.14 until it exists; the latter,
though, I'm less confident about.
Meanwhile, we also will be having the display server arriving late in
cycle, and needing to deal with updates/bugs/testing of that. We may
find ourselves flush with bugs and flat on time...
If we were to just skip 1.14 this cycle and stick with 1.13.x, what
would we lose out on?
