Message #00662
Fwd: Cloud Foundry charm
Cory and Ben,
IBM is trying to use the Cloud Foundry charm and was not able to get it
running. Can someone give them some assistance on getting this charm
working?
In a reply please copy me, Kevin and suchvenu@xxxxxxxxxx because we will
talk about this at the next ibm charmer meeting.

Hi,
I have run into a problem with deploying the Cloud Foundry(CF) charm with
the various CF components not being deployed. I sent out a note on juju
list as well as the CF charm contact but yet to receive a response. Any one
who could help on this?

Here are the details:
I branched Cloudfoundry charm from
lp:~cf-charmers/charms/trusty/cloudfoundry/trunk on Ubuntu Trusty server.
Set admin_password and admin_secret in config.yaml
Ran cfdeploy <cf admin password> - this I tried with a local (LXC) as well
as on the Amazon cloud.
In both cases the deployment is stuck:
Setting up virutalenv.
Bootstrapping |... | 10.0% 0:00:00[sudo]
password for charm:
Waiting for CloudFoundry API endpoint |...................... |

' juju status' shows that cloudfoundry charm is deployed and there is no
error in it's deployment status. No other CF charms have been deployed.
The tail of the cfdeploy log:
process: juju switch (0)

Added charm "local:trusty/cloudfoundry-212" to the environment.

Note that I closed the browser that opened with the above command.
On the cloudfoundry/0 container:
A build directory has been created in the deployed charm directory which
contains bundles.yaml and all the cloud foundry charms files -

I am able to ping xip.io from the container.
Not sure as why the Cloudfoundry packages (dea, router etc) are not setup.
Anything to be done for this to happen?
