The resolution of this depends on the merge for the bug lp:801906, so
i'll start developing from the branch lp:~dcaro/clicompanion/fix-801906.

If I end the fix of this bug before the merge of the branche above, I
will drop the old merge and merge the new branch instead.

  Properties are not applied to the current terminal

Bug description:
  When changing the properties (backfround color for example), the
  changes are not made to the current terminal, but are saved in the
  config file.
