Is it possible to use the cheetah template engine to just compile the sysvinit scripts slightly differently for debian or for redhat. That avoids 2 different sets of sysvinit scripts. Thoughts? Cheetah provides a pretty powerful templating engine, it might be possible to just use it here for the RH/debian differences?
