The Ubuntu server team has begun verifying cloud-init version 24.3.1 which
is currently available in the -proposed pocket of Ubuntu Focal (20.04),
Jammy (22.04), and Noble (24.04).

We follow this SRU procedure before publishing to stable Ubuntu releases:

If you wish to perform some additional SRU verification tests on your cloud
platform of choice you can follow the procedure at:

We will track the Ubuntu SRU progress in the bug:
