Re: How CoApp manages PATH?

This will be explained in a forthcoming document on the website. Please be patient while we update the documentation to reflect the current state of the software.

Subject: [Coapp-developers] How CoApp manages PATH?

Hi,

I started playing with CoApp packages.
I installed Expat and Lua for x86 and I noticed everything goes to C:\Program Files (x86)\Outercurve Foundation:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Outercurve Foundation>tree Folder PATH listing for volume zoo Volume serial number is 5209-4DD3 C:.
├───Expat[Vc10]-2.0.1.5-X86-1E373a58e25250cb
└───Lua[Vc10]-5.2.0.1-X86-1E373a58e25250cb

Sounds good.

Now, I launch cmd.exe and I execute lua command. It works!
Same for xmlwf.exe.

Quick inspection of PATH and...the location presented above is not there.

How lua and other programs are found if their location is not in PATH?
Could anyone explain me the magic or point to some doc?

Best regards,
