I partially agree.
This drawer delay has been around FOREVER and no movement whatsoever
has been made on it. It seems as if the bug is well documented with
various cases where the behavior does and does not appear (seems to be
tied to compiz as the drawers behave as expected when compiz is turned
off).
As drawers are used by a lot of people and compiz as well, it affects
all those people.
A seemingly small fix would affect a lot of people.
This bug has been open for a long time and gets a lot of comments.
There is interest here.
