No, I mean I cannot figure out how to get the damn thing to work.  No
options are present (for one thing) another is that where does one get
the widgets from?  How does one organize them?  I tried widgets on
Ubuntu with that one glassy widget option (I don't remember the name
right now - with the flower one could water, etc) and those worked.  I
was wondering if this was just that project added into Compiz (since it
would probably work like that with the code - who knows).

How does "Widget Layer" work with Compiz?  It does not seem to do anything for me.
