[Bug 428783] [NEW] shadow remains on desktop after closing applet window

Steps to produce the bug:
1. Enable Desktop Effects
2. Close all windows (desktop should be visible)
3. Click on the clock applet info in system tray
4. Click on it again
5. You see a trace on desktop on the place where clock applet window was.

NVIDIA 185-series proprietary driver, GF 7300 GT card.
