You have been subscribed to a public bug: Binary package hint: ubuntuone-client Description: Ubuntu karmic (development branch) Release: 9.10 -I powered on the computer, Ubuntu booted up normally. The mouse pointer showed the little round circle as if processing but it would not go back to the normal arrow. -All applications had no window border and would appear one line (width of bottom panel) above the bottom panel. I went into appearance and noticed that visual effects were set to NONE. When I changed the visual effects to NORMAL the window border came back to normal. However, when I opened the update manager, the "starting update manager" window had no window border yet other application did. I rechecked the appearance>visual effects and it was back to NONE. * also for some reason the numpad stopped working even with numlock on or off ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Fri Sep 18 21:07:46 2009 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 Package: ubuntuone-client 0.95.1-0ubuntu1 PackageArchitecture: all ProcEnviron: LANG=en_CA.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-10.34-generic SourcePackage: ubuntuone-client Uname: Linux 2.6.31-10-generic i686 ** Affects: compiz (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 -- No window border https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/bugs/432871 You received this bug notification because you are a member of compiz packagers, which is subscribed to compiz in ubuntu.
