Found it!

I removed my "Lock Screen" shortcut (Super + L) and it works.  So this
is still a bug.

The bug is: If you use the Super key in your Gnome keyboard shortcuts,
you cannot use the Super key in your Compiz shortcuts.  This is
obviously wrong.
