Shift-Super-c indeed clears the fire, but that isn't the default
behavior until today. It should be fading away after I release the mouse
button, since I didn't change any settings. Perhaps the problem is not
in compiz, but in easystroke. I use the fire plugin option to track
strokes captured by easystroke.
