[Bug 440231] [NEW] After suspend, next (re)boot gives white screen on login

You have been subscribed to a public bug:

Binary package hint: xorg

Suspend works fine as far as I can tell.
But the next time I fully shut down and reboot, I get a white screen when I log into Gnome. I can do the Compiz cube, but it runs slowly, and all desktops are white.
I have to reboot again for login to work properly.
