I have slightly different bug, which can be described by the same words "loss of window border when using compiz", and I use Normal option for resize too. At this moment changing of this option gives me nothing. The problem is that all outside the application area of window is _completely_ lost (see attached screenshot). Maximized windows fill all the screen, so that it doesn't even think that there should be some border elements.
Should I file another bug or is it modification of this one?

I use an 8th generation Nvidia videocard.
