Richard, thank you for reporting this issue.  If I am reading your
system information correctly, I believe you are using a NVidia card and
driver.  Have you tried to use the nouveau drivers instead?  Also, there
is a newer nvidia driver available (version 190), but try the nouveau
drivers first.

Let us know how if any of this helps you out.
