Natanael, thank you for taking the time to report this issue.  To help
gather more information, while having the Fire/burn effect on, run the
following command in the terminal: apport-collect -p compiz 481343'.
This will let us see the settings to help confirm this bug.

  Binary package hint: compiz
  
  The window burn/fire effect leaves "residues" on the screen when closing large windows with default configuration for the effect.
  For small windows it works as it should and all fire disappears when the window is closed properly.
