above message in terminal post calling 'compiz'  Need to invoke compiz to allow system monitor to run properly
other wise hashlike window which stays in place.

Also, invoking terminal occasionally results in non-responsive keyboard
commands -  cant type into terminal.

Windows 'freeze up' under variety of operations.

- is this a graphics driver problem, bug in version 10.0

can I load in an earlier -maybe less buggyv version of Ubunt
