Same and different. Compiz is shown as running when logging out or
rebooting. Initial boot always requires logout/login to settle the
desktop.

It may have something to do with me not being able to boot at all in
Natty using either kernel 2.6.37-7 or 2.6.37-8 at all. Login stalls with
'debug port 1'.

If i knew which application to quote to report the second bug, I would.
