got this similar one previouly on the same session:

(gnome-terminal:17400): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: invalid
uninstantiatable type `(null)' in cast to `GObject'

(gnome-terminal:17400): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_get_data:
assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed

so this bug seems to be related to a dependency rather than compiz or
gnome-terminal
