Hooray!  Today's login updates included: "Ubuntu classic, no effects"

I presume that means "no Compiz?"  I used to turn off effects in the
System > Preferences : Appearance but I don't see that window any more.

I was running about 5 to 15 minutes per Natty failure with either
classic or Unity as in this bug.  Updated, tried the "no effects" login
option, now Natty classic has run for a couple hours no failure!

I didn't see an option for "Unity no effects"....
