Message #12291
[Bug 731413] [NEW] Window decorations don't apply on unmaximised windows
You have been subscribed to a public bug:
I am using Ubuntu 11.04 Alpha 3, fully upgraded, although this issue has
effected me since Alpha 1. I wasn't sure this was a bug until I saw
screen shots of others systems. I am not sure exactly what package this
effects, but I will guess Compiz (1:0.9.4-0ubuntu4).
When windows are not maximised, they do not follow the proper window
decoration theme. I do not recognise the theme they do use, but it is
orange and the buttons are on the right hand side. I have attached a
screen shot. This occurs with every program when they are not maximized.
I have tried changing the window decorator in the compiz settings to
emerald and back, but nothing changes. The windows do follow whatever
theme I choose when they are fully maximised to the system bar.
I do not know what information would be helpful for debugging, but I
will stand by to provide what information I can.
** Affects: compiz (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
