[Bug 734607] Re: window manager gnome failed to open

The window manager doesn't on Ubuntu desktop session, but its there in
safe mode, xfce, and kde sessions. There are no panels or options to
- close, minimize or maximize windows.

+ graphics mode, login, start gdm, select ubuntu-destop-edition, then
