This bug is a total showstopper for inexperienced users of ubuntu. Many
inexperienced users get ubuntu installed by friends or relatives, only
for having a computer to use on the web. So for them, when the web-
browser is not working, it means the system is not working. My
girlfriend says she cant access her bank, but it turned out it was this
bug blocking it (Ubuntu 10.10).

I think it's amazing that canonical is not taking this issue more
seriously, and believe this bug should be marked with High importance,
