In my opinion the current restore looks a bit weird.  It might be more
noticeable in FF as the window takes longer to paint so the animation is
more obvious.

Oh, is it supposed to be 'flying' in?  On my screen it looks like it
zooms in and then wanders to the right a bit before it settles down.  It
looks better when the animation is smoother.
