I too am having this problem, or at least I believe so. It affects the
majority of the lower area of my desktop and affects all other
applications running too. For instance, I can't scroll using firefox
while hovering over this area. I can't paint in Gimp, I can't properly
edit in Blender, etc... Running Natty 11.04 Beta 2 at the moment now.
This don't affect classic gnome without effects at all. I can't vouche
for classic gnome with effects enabled because I haven't used it.
