[Bug 647164] Re: window buttons (maximize minimize close) mouseover effect fails
Hello,
I encounter the following problem under Ubuntu Natty with the "ThinMC"
window border theme (see http://art.gnome.org/themes/metacity?page=4),
does not highlight minimize, maximize and close buttons on mouse over.
This happens if windows are not maximized. When maximized, the buttons
are highlighted on mouseover. This behavior arises at least for the
Terminal and Nautilus windows, but for others as well.
As far as I remember, the same happened for other themes, too.
Other windows (such Eclipse Indiogo M6a) do not presente this wrong
behavior and correctly highlight the respective buttons.
If is helpful:
- some time ago, my Natty presented also the following behavior (this was corrected meanwhile): when maximized, neither Opera nor Firefox windows did not change the Window title when commuting between open browsing tabs; however, they changed the window title when windows were no longer maximized;
- the following behavior occured at least once: when hovering mouse over a maximized Nautilus window button "maximize", then fastly double-clicking the window to un-maximize, the "maximize" button remained highlighted, even if now the window is no longer maximized; the respective minimize, maximize and close buttons are no longer responsive to mouse hovering (consistent with the behavior explained above about the un-maximized state of the window); see the attached screenshot.
