I give up on Unity, but not because of this bug.  This morning I needed
a phone number I had left on a sticky note on the desktop (using the
Gnome Stickynote applet), so I had to logout and log back in in the
classic desktop to read my note.

And here I will stay, Ubuntu, Unity is a failed experiment in this
house.
