Confirmed here on nVidia (Lenovo T61) and Intel (Lenovo ThinkCentre 8810-AA5).
Steps to reproduce:
* minimize and restore a window (gnome-terminal, for example).
* drag a window until touching the gnome-panel on the top.
* maximize and restore a window.
