Message #17892
[Bug 777364] Re: gtk-window-decorator chrashed when clicking one the “menu” icon on the title bar of any window.
Well I’ve done that, but no file were created in /var/crash except “_sbin_plymouthd.0.crash”, which I think is a crash of an other package.
I’ve however enable apport in /etc/default/apport and re-created the bug in root mode.
It doesn’t have added any file in /var/crash (including hidden ones), but apport launches, as if it were launched by normal mode.
It surprises me that the report were very different and seems much more complete, containing immediate values of may variables.
Here it is in attachment. I hope it will be helpful, not having succeeded in creating this “.crash” file…
If you want me to try further tests, do not hesitate to ask.
Martin.
P.S.: I’ve also tried the Alt+Space keyboard combination, it crashes
too.
