[Bug 792080] [NEW] VLC breaks the graphical system

 

You have been subscribed to a public bug:

Binary package hint: vlc

When started (for example, from a terminal using the command "vlc"), the graphic system doesn't work fine anymore. The attached screenshot gives a clear idea of the problem.
In addition, sometimes "compiz-decorator" crashes (maybe it's a problem with compiz itself?)

Ubuntu 11.04, Unity, with nVidia drivers. 2.6.38-8-generic x86_64.
