Hi Bilal,
I was able to reproduce this bug on 3 different machines, two Nattys and one Oneiric, all with the latest updates. I have updated the steps to reproduce it. Could you please tell me if you were able to reproduce the bug?

** Description changed:

  Steps to reproduce:
- - open two firefox windows, then drag a html file to the icon in the launcher.
+ - open two firefox windows, then drag a html file to the icon in the launcher and hold it until the scale plugin is activated,  wait for 3-4 seconds and then release themouse click.
  Expected result:
  - the file is opened in one of the windows.
  Actual result:
  - the scale plugin will activate and the file will be opened as a new tab in one of the windows but the system cannot deactivate the scale plugin. Cosequently, any other operations on the computer can not be performed, forcing to a reboot.
