** Description changed:

  Everything works apparently (and functionally) well but sometimes the
  GUI starts becoming less responsive (jerky motion when transitioning
  screens is usually the tell tell sign) and after a while it will lock up
  for a few seconds (he seems to be handling the crash) and when the
  picture comes back he usually (but not always) keep the two monitor
  configuration but all maximized windows will take up both screens and
  sometimes the window chrome will turn into a white wide pixel border.
