[Bug 814554] [NEW] Titlebar disappears on maximized windows under gnome

You have been subscribed to a public bug:

After some recent update (i think updates from around 18-21 july 2011)
the titlebar of maximized windows is no longer visible under gnome (not
using unity). It worked fine few days before reporting this bug. I have
the same problem on two separate machines with natty installed and all
recent updates applied. When any window is unmaximized the titlebar
becomes visible again.

>From what i can tell it is not the fault of:
1) compiz ( i have "any" value in section "window decorations/decoration windows" CCSM)
2) maximus package (i do not have this package installed on any of these two machines)
3) metacity configuration (i see with gconf-editor that show_maximized_titlebars is CHECKED under "apps/metacity/general")

So it is probably a new issue. On one of this machines changing theme
to "clearlooks" fixes the problem (changing back to some other theme
introduces this problem again), but it is only working for one of the
machines and it does not work in 100% cases.
