[Bug 830955] Re: [nVidia graphics] Corrupted video when connecting external displays

 

Hello,

As requested, I reinstalled Alpha3 and the issue as described originally
does appear again, the external screen shows blocks of black and white
with dots of various colors.

I then installed with the latest image as of today (20110906) and things
work well as described in comment #2.

This indicates that it was not a random issue, but some problem actually
present in A3.

The systems tested were:

Dell Precision M4500 (nVidia Corporation: GT215 [Quadro FX 1800M])
Dell Latitude E6410 (nVidia Corporation: GT218 [NVS 3100M])
