@Pesmontis: you can restart unity from tty1. Press Ctrl+Alt+F1 and login
with your username and password. Then type commmand "SCREEN=:0 unity
--replace". Now Press Ctrl+Alt+F7 or Ctrl+Alt+F8(I don't know which one
is for graphic mode) and unity will be restarted and ready to use.
