@Bucic, To work around this bug you need:

In CompizConfig Settings Manager:
Sync to VBlank - OFF
Detect refresh rate - Is not relevant. But if you're interested then the (future) fix for bug 880707 will bypass incorrectly detected refresh rates.

And I would recommend:

In Catalyst Control Center:
Tear-free - ON
