Something else I've noticed (without the new repos) is that compiz/unity
gets slower and slower as time goes on without a restart. For example,
eventually dash and that app switcher start having multi-second delays
and the animated workspace switching stops being animated because the
framerates are so low. As we've talked about above, I'm not sure if this
issue is related or not but I'll be testing it with the new repos.
