The wording was a little hard to decipher. This functionality is
definitely there (and probably implemented on purpose). Tested on 12.04.

** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: unity
  
- Unity launcher maximize all windows of the same application when they
- are all minimized and it doesn't allow to choose them in expo mode
- (scale windows?). But this feature works great when there is at least
- one window not minimized.
+ When one has multiple windows of the same application, clicking on the

+ user to pick which one to focus. The expose also includes any minimized
