[Bug 897312] Re: oneiric workspace switcher - same application instance on all screens

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to
look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many
changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem
may have been fixed with some of the updates.

Also, if the problem is still there, please press <alt>+F2, then type in
"unity --reset" (without quotes) and see if that fixes the issue.

** Description changed:

Recently upgraded to Oneiric. Now when I use workspace switcher, the
same instance of an application comes up on all screens, rendering
workspaces useless, since they are all virtually the same. For
instance, when I bring up firefox and go to a website, I can then open
another workspace, bring up (what I want to be) a separate invocation of
firefox, but I get the same website, and have to leave it to go where I
want. Couldn't find any mention in this in the list of bugs after
  running ubuntu-bug.
