Message #29715
[Bug 951938] Re: Middle-clicking the title bars causing window flickering.
** Description changed:
Middle-clicking title bars is supposed to send windows to the background
(I believe). This does not behave as well as it should.
Middle-clicking the title bar of a window that is not on top makes it
briefly appear on top before it is sent to the background, causing a
- flicker.
+ flicker. See step 4 below.
- It also so don't work properly with minimized windows in some
- circumstances. Middle-clicking a window cause it to go to the back
- briefly, before returning to the front.
+ It also doesn't work properly with minimized windows in some
+ circumstances. Middle-clicking a window's title bar causes it to go to
+ the back briefly, before returning to the front. See step 6 below.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Login
2. Open 3 Nautilus windows (non-maximized).
3. Middle-clicking the top-most window's title bar should send it to the background as expected.
4. Middle-clicking the title bar of lower windows will briefly bring them to the top before they go to the background. (Bug)
5. Minimize one of the windows.
6. Middle-clicking the top-most window's title bar will send it to the background briefly before returning it to the top. (Bug)
