I haven't tried ubuntu 12.04 Beta 1 yet as it is too slow to download at
this point, but I experience random freezes as the above mentioned in a
fully updated kubuntu 12.04 Beta 1. An external usbmouse works fine
though. I've tried to move back to the 3.2.0-17 kernel and even though
it seemed like it solved the problem for a while it happened there as
well.

I'm on a HP pavilion dm1-4100 with amd all the way. No indications in
any of the logs about what is happening as far as I can see anyways.
Right now it is so bad it is almost impossible to do anything, but the
strange thing is that everything runs smoothly up to the point when the
freeze happens.
