[Bug 957881] Re: Jerky movement of windows on desktop using Ubuntu 11.10

All issues with jerky window movement are (should be) fixed in Ubuntu
12.04. They are best described in bug 92599 which was fixed by the fix
for bug 880707. Please try the workarounds listed in those bugs.
If the workarounds are not enough and you would like a preview of the new (fixed) rendering that will be in 12.04, you can try it on 11.10 using ppa:vanvugt/compiz:
https://launchpad.net/~vanvugt/+archive/compiz
However that is not a complete preview of 12.04, which has many other performance improvements.
