[Bug 947912] [NEW] after login screen crashes for approx 5 secs. until the background is displayed again

After logging in with unity-greeter the screen is distorded displaying a chaos of random pixels. After three to eight seconds the normal user background appears again and the unity-session wil be loaded normally.

I use ubuntu 12.04 with a radeon 5000HD and tried various drivers: radeon/fglrx/fgrlx-update(currently)
All had the same problem
