compiz works without unity or vice versa seems way around it is to use
the settings in the lof in screen and have 2 accounts one running unity
the other compiz seems to affect the graphics card nvidia most of what
i've found out is that the bug happens on machines running nvidia will
update soon as got several different cards will try others first
