[Bug 887673] Re: uses 100+ MB of memory

 

using precise right now. It got better but still using at least 70MB.. right now at 118MB.. doing compiz --replace brought it to 84MB
will apport-collect as soon as it is at >100MB again

  compiz consistently uses between 100-2000 MB
  for example currently:

- i am using nvidia driver, ubuntu oneiric fully updated
+ i am using nvidia driver, ubuntu oneiric 64Bit fully updated
  on a dualhead display(laptop + extra screen)
  (also note: xorg uses lots of memory too.. may be related?)
