Message #32097
[Bug 979770] Re: compiz config is pretty much empty with the default profile for new users
Summary of IRC discussions:
- that's a side effect of having a default plugin list empty
- gconf has
/apps/compizconfig-1/profiles/Default/general/screen0/options:
active_plugins = [core,composite,opengl,compiztoolbox,decor,vpswitch,snap,mousepoll,resize,place,move,wall,grid,regex,imgpng,session,gnomecompat,animation,fade,workarounds,scale,expo,ezoom]
No value set for
`/apps/compiz-1/general/screen0/options/active_plugins'
- using ccsm to activate "unity" works, going back to "default" works,
clicking on "reset to default" empty the active plugins back
